This Dissertation in Geography Master provides a description of the results of studies conducted by a geographical survey and geoenvironmental in association with the determination of environmental impacts, which took place in the Mineiro Stream hydrographical basin and surrounding belongs to the Nova Olímpia municipality which is situated in the south-west part of the State of Mato Grosso. The main objective of this description is to present physiographic studies in the basin in question, in association with one study of the environmental impacts, of the erosive process and a division of same in environmental units. The results are discussed initially in the form of an introduction, followed by the objectives of this study, the methodological procedures used in field work and in the description of the physiographical aspects and geoenvironmental, which constitute in the theme of this dissertation. In this form are presented data about the regional climate, following of the geological setting which is constituted by the rocks belonging to the lithostratigraphic units: Alto Paraguay Group, Parecis Group, Detritus-lateritic Covers, Pantanal Training and Alluvial Recent that are revealed through the geomorphological partitioning known as Parecis Plateau, Upper Paraguay River Basin and the Plains and Wetlands, the soils, the hydrographic network, and the vegetable cover presented with the consequent presentation of data on Environmental Degradation and Environmental Impacts, as a contribution to knowledge, which are evidenced and completed in the form of some final considerations. The Mineiro stream is of paramount importance for the novaolimpiense city population, since the public supply is made with part of the waters of this water body. Human inserts implemented in the upper reaches of this stream can alter the quality of its waters, which requires studies and ongoing attention to understand and monitor the resulting dynamics of the society / nature, especially regarding the removal of natural vegetation, including Mata who once ran along its entire length, and the possible implications on water quality due to different types of land use. At the end of the references, and following this context we used data obtained during field work in the area, in order to illustrate and establish this Master Geographic Dissertation.
